A total of 154 specimens of the genus were collected using Malaise traps during 2010. The genus <em>Orthocentrus</em> and its seven species and one subspecies are new records for the fauna of Iran: <em>O. asper</em> (Gravenhorst, 1829), <em><br /> O. castellanus</em> Ceballos, 1963, <em>O. hirsutor</em> Aubert, 1969, <em>O. protervus</em> Holmgren, 1858, <em>O. sannio</em> Holmgren, 1858, <em><br /> O. strigatus </em>Holmgren, 1858, <em>O. winnertzii</em> Forster, 1850 and <em>O. winnertzii</em> <em>planator</em> Aubert, 1978. Seasonal abundance, emergence period, distribution and altitudinal changes in <em>Orthocentrus</em> fauna on two slopes of the Alborz Mountains are provided. Keys for identification of <em>Orthocentrus</em> species found in Gilan and Tehran provinces are presented based on males and females. در این تحقیق جنس <em>Orthocentrus</em> Gravenhorst, 1829 (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae, Orthocentrinae) در استان‌های گیلان و تهران مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. در مجموع 154 نمونه از زنبورهای این جنس توسط تله مالیز در سال 1389 جمع‌آوری شد. جنس <em>Orthocentrus</em> و هفت گونه و یک زیرگونه مربوط به این جنس شامل <em>O. asper</em> (Gravenhorst, 1829)، <em>O. castellanus</em> Ceballos, 1963، <em>O. hirsutor</em> Aubert, 1969،<br /> <em>O. protervus</em> Holmgren, 1858، <em>O. sannio</em> Holmgren, 1858، <em>O. strigatus </em>Holmgren, 1858، <em>O. winnertzii </em> Forster, 1850 و <br /> <em>O. winnertzii </em> <em>planator</em> Aubert, 1978 جمع‌آوری و شناسایی شد که همگی برای اولین بار از ایران گزارش می‌شوند. فراوانی فصلی، دوره ظهور حشرات کامل، انتشار گونه‌ها و تغییرات فون گونه‌های جنس <em>Orthocentrus</em> بر اساس تغییرات ارتفاع در دامنه‌های شمالی و جنوبی البرز ارائه شده است. کلید شناسایی گونه‌های جنس <em>Orthocentrus</em> جمع‌آوری شده از استان‌های گیلان و تهران برای نرها و ماده‌ها به تفکیک ارائه شده است. https://jaenph.areeo.ac.ir/article_100582_928d63b5b45dbee1dc78b8180b073f74.pdf
