In September 2006, I reported Chrysobothris solieri (Col.: Buprestidae) as new record from Iran. At that time two parasitic wasps, had been identified on C. solieri by Y. Maeek from Prague museum in Czech Republic.
In this year, a few specimens of these parasitoid were studied which were determined as Varzobia tibialis Nikolskaya. This species is a new record from Iran.
