In the study Pteromalidae (Hym.: Chalcidoidea) fauna in alfalfa fields of Maragheh, East-Azarbaijan province one species of the family Pteromalidae was collected. The samples were collected using sweeping method and Aspirator. Based on available literatures, it was identified as Anogmus laricis (Bouček) that is new record for Iranian fauna (1). This species reported from Austria, Italy, Netherlands and Poland (2). This is a parasitoid of some the family Anthomyiidae (Diptera). The specimen was collected from Mosa-Dare (N37˚17΄28. 44˝ E46˚12΄26. 51˝ and 1430 m latitude). This sample deposited in the Insect collection of Department of Plant Protection, Agricultural and Natural Resources Research of East-Azarbaijan, Tabriz, Iran. Some morphological character of A. laricis that can help to separate this species from others are as follow: dorsally depressed gaster; completely reticulate thoracic pleura; antennal formula 11353; combined length of dorsellum and propodeum, in the median line, about two thirds that of the scutellum; antennae and legs fuscous, only the knees, apices of tibiae, and bases of tarsi is pale (3).
